Hi. I'm Tyler, a half-metalhead half-electro-swing programmer that can spell really well and write code even better. When I'm not writing code, I'm either playing videogames like Dota 2, watching badass tv-shows like Breaking Bad, or I'm trying to get in shape. When I am writing code however, I really enjoy working on video games more than software itself. I've done quite a bit of work designing and implementing various game systems including npc state generation, reusable GUI builder / system, and various game systems in side projects I have worked on. I would say the subjects that interest me the most are AI and gameplay with some interest in writing game tools.
The whole reason I got into this field is because many years ago I started creating small projects for myself, thinking that I would create the next Legend of Zelda. I was hooked from the start; attempting to make games was awesome because I could do whatever I wanted. I went to school to become what I wanted to be, a game programmer. I definitely have become very confient in the code I write and I love doing this; I wouldn't change anything about that.
What am I doing now?
I am currently unemployed seeking a job in the game or software industries.
